Joy Thai is our nearest Thai restaurant and also our favorite, we regularly get takeout from this fine establishment. Joy and his wife are very kind individuals and they serve very tasty food. My wife absolutely loves their fresh spring rolls. I always call and order the same thing: fresh spring roll, basil or pineapple fried rice, and drunken noodles, and the quality and taste is always consistent. They actually do fried rice to fried and not merely tossed-semi-fried like many places do, and I appreciate that very much. They wok hei is awesome. As a vegetarian, I was happy to know that they will not use oyster or fish sauces in vegetarian dishes. For heat enthusiasts they also have one of the best chili oil recipes, mild-medium heat. For as long as they are open and we live in west McKinney, we will always support Joy’s restaurant. Thank you for being in our neighborhood and serving up some awesome dishes!

Best Thai authentic flavor in town. Friendly service. Food was great, very impressive on the authentic flavor. If you like to eat real Thai flavors you better come here. Best in town. 5 stars Drunken noodles stir fried is spicy fat noodles, sheet but soft , Chicken wings is crunchy outside but juicy inside, fried chicken and rice with ginger dipping sauce is like your momma comfort food version , Thai boba tea drink are best out of the world sweet and milky and last but not least was a spicy wonton if you like with hot and spicy homemade chili oil. Definitely recommend and promise we will be back when we come back to this town again.

While it would be equally at home in Chelsea Market on 14th Street in NYC, Joy Thai is located in a strip mall in McKinney, next to a Vape shop and Boba Tea establishment. Tastefully decorated in a modern style, it's a perfect backdrop for an intimate date or lunch with friends. The service is excellent, the food is fresh and the curries and sauces accompanying each dish are inspiring. My favorite dishes would be the Panang Curry and an order of Vegetable Spring Rolls, though there is not a bad item on the menu. As a word of caution, though I enjoy spicy food, I usually order the curry dishes "mild" as "Thai Spicy" is not for the faint of heart! When ordering pick-up on-line, the food is ready when indicated and still hot when picked-up. Whether dine-in, or take-out, Joy Thai is a gem worth exploring!

First time trying Thai food and everything was really good. The raspberry tea is refreshing. The house brew is an unsweetened tea so not for anyone looking for a sweet tea. The spicy lime wings had a unique and delicious flavor. The seasoned coating is . The rice and noodles were good. I was skeptical about the peanut sauce but it went really good with the noodles. The mango sweet rice was a light sweet dessert and I liked the sweetness and chewiness of the rice. I definitely look first forward to trying more. Also the staff is really nice and the place is clean including the restroom.

I wish I lived closer! This place was excellent! A bit small inside but it was very cozy and the server was very nice. Great prices as well. Food was fantastic! I got the pad see ew. I’ll def be back when I am in the area again. I want to try the drunken noodles next!

It’s Good! Prices are fair. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the service was and how good the food was. It’s a Thai restaurant, but the little twists on the menu definitely add value so it’s not just another copy of every other Thai joint in the ‘burbs. Solid to-go business it seems like from watching everyone come in and out. Small dine in area, and it was just enough! We’ll be back.

It’s pretty good. The mango sweet rice is really sweet and I love it. Also the mangoes are really sweet. The curry is super good. Like if I was sick, I would recommend eating this.

This small restaurant business is awesome and delicious, we went to have lunch on Sunday, and surprised us with really good seasoning dishes. Waiters were so polite, amigables and courteous5 stars Mango ice cream is the best taste ever
